1967 UK Television Series (And Les Misérables TLC "Great Books" Documentary)

In 1967 there was a UK television mini-series adaptation of Les Misérables, which was in black and white and ran for eight hours. I haven't been able to find this version but many scenes of it are shown on a documentary that I just found on Youtube.

For pictures of the 1967 UK adaptation click here, then on photos, then on albums, then on "Les Misérables, 1967, Inglaterra ??":

I have not watched the documentary yet but I'm pretty excited to watch these scenes. The Learning Channel had a documentary show called Great Books and in one of the episodes Les Misérables was discussed, and that is what the first link is. I recommend downloading the documentary, since who knows when it will get removed.

Thanks, this is great! :) I was worried that this could be one of those adaptations that end up lost. This series is a longer one so it seems important that we can watch and buy it. The DVD's are Region 2 (Europe), so some people in USA or wherever would need a special DVD player or program to watch this. I wonder if the release date timing of this item has something to do with the upcoming 2019 UK adaptation by BBC.

I hope we eventually get the 1925 France version and the full length 1974 Mexico version too! :)
