Actually I kind of don't blame him for not getting too friendly with the local fans. I mean he doesn't even get two months on Broadway, they announced closing practically right after he started, so. I mean if I were him I wouldn't get too attached to anyone if I knew I was just going back home in seven weeks again anyway.

There're still a few barricade boys I don't have so I will try to get more pictures. I am pretty sure there are going to be pictures from January 6th, so.. yeah. :D

Apparently ticket sales slacked off after Lea Salonga left.

JOJ is amazing, but he's practically a no-name in the US, definitely not a tourist draw like Lea. I swear half the population of the Philippines came out to see her.

Ah, it's times like this that I wish I were older... my friend Yna and I were just talking/joking about how if the revival was extended a year or more, (which is a long time to extend it, but considering how long the original ran for...) we would go and see it together, except that it was closing. *sighs*

I'm restarting this thread because I just saw Les Mis twice in London (the second time was unplanned, but, in some ways, better) and I can now say that I have stage door experience :)

My program was signed by Hans Peter Janssens (I saw his understudy - Stephen John Davis - the next night, and, in my opinion, he was much better) and Drew Sarich and Cassie Compton and Gary Watson.

And then I decided that I had to see it again, and I got a picture with Gary Watson. Which was amazing :) He was so friendly - I asked if I could have a picture and he said "Absolutely!" and just gave me this huge hug.

So I was really quite happy!

You can upload them to photobucket, copy the "direct link" URL, and then paste it between the "img" tags.
That's how I do, anyways.

Speaking of which:

(Warning: Loony looks atarded in all stagedoor pictures. This is a law. Because getting really, really happy/excited = stupid faces)

JOJ and a hat. He was really very nice with us; told us about his ironic wheat allergies and whatnot.

These are the only two pictures I got from seeing the show in January... Mike Evariste, who played Montparnasse. I passed up getting Gary Beach's autograph for this picture. Mike came out of the stage door pretty quickly and was trying to leave, and I went "Montparnasse?" and he stopped and turned around on his heel with a face that looked a lot like this "?" So I was like, "You're my favourite..." and he was like, "Wow... thanks..." and I got an autograph, and then I was like "...canIgetapicturetoo?" and he was all, "Sure!" Very surprised at the attention, perhaps...

This is from last July... we went to hang out at the Imperial for a while and remember good times stagedooring in 2003... Oh, Christopher Mark Peterson, I still love you...
(I have that look on my face because people walking by were raising eyebrows at me...)

Um... Gary Watson. Plays Marius.

He's not very photogenic, but he's gorgeous in real life. So I had to get a pic with him :)
