Gosh, who might that be? :lol:

I'm vehemently against short-haired Javerts. :wink: Sue me. :mrgreen:

OMG whaaaaat?! I don't even know this is a thing! Where can I find it? Did a quick search just now but only Arai's manga came out.

Lol a tumblr user posted some scans from the French translation of the manga:

For some reason they've translated 'Enjolras' into 'Anjolras' :lol:
It's like that thing you do with Google translate where you translate something into another language and back again and get something completely different.

LMAO at that Anjolras tirade.
Don't mess with Texas! We mess up enough by ourselves.
I have actually made bullets like they're doing in my avatar. Then loaded the gun with a ramrod, and shot it. But I'm not feeling real good about guns right now.

Don't give me ideas. :mrgreen:

So I just went to the Japanese wikipedia page of Les Mis, got all the characters' Japanese names, asked Google to translate them into French, and this happened:
Jean Valjean --> Jean Val Jean (Ok, you tried.)
Inspecteur Javert --> Ja voile Inspecteur ( :lol: )
Fantine --> Fantinu
Cosette --> Cosette
Marius Pontmercy --> Mariyusu Pont Merci
Thénardier--> Tenarudie
Éponine --> Eponinu
Enjolras --> Anjorurasu
Combeferre --> varech échouent (What the...??)
Courfeyrac --> Fe porte fraîche (...???)
Grantaire --> Grande-Terre (Google just created a new pun for R?)

Scans and review of another Les Mis manga

Another Japanese manga but it's in English! And there's another very typical Japanese-style Fantine. Cosette is blond too. Is there any Les Mis manga where Fantine doesn't look like this and Cosette isn't blond? :lol: I prefer this JVJ to Arai's though, to be honest. Boring old school aesthetics, I know. Sorry. :mrgreen:
The "?" in Cosette's speech bubble when Fantine kisses her goodbye somehow makes this scene funnier than it should be. :?

Someone scanned the manga and posted their review here. :D
