favicon

Postby MmeJavert » Sat Jun 12, 2010 2:28 am

So when you open a new website the tab shows this tiny 16x16 icon that is supposed to be a representation of the site you're visiting. The red-and-white envelope for gmail, the little blue pencil for lj, the black/yellow/white 'a' with an arrow for Amazon, etc.

The-barricade and Abaissé don't have one.

...any of you artistic types want to make one? It can be anything. A barricade, a lobster, etc. Something that will clearly make you think of Abaissé/the-barricade when you look at the little pic in your tabs.

If we get multiple volunteers then i'll put up a vote. But I'm kind of tired of seeing the generic piece-of-paper for Abaissé, and I have no personal inspiration to make one on my own.

always home but so far away

nothing said, what a waste

...I realize you posted this like ages ago but um

Something like this perhaps? Image

I know it's really basic and ...yeah basic, but um. It does what it says on the box, I guess? :Da

OMG that IS exactly what it says on the box and it is AWESOME! :D Next time I fire up my FTP program I'll upload it in, hopefully in a couple days or so. (i.e., whenever I get around to actually rebooting my computer instead of just hibernating)

Lmao ok! The blue looks a little darkish to me on my screen now that I look at it more, though. Does it look ok to you, or should I fix it..?

I'm likin' it, Hannah :D Shame that 16x16 is a bit small to fit a lobster into... that would be really cute :P

After, uh, a very long delay, I finally unearthed the password for the FTP account logged into the web account for Abaissé and uploaded Hannah's lovely favicon. :D

If you don't see the favicon in your tab or title bar or wherever those things usually show up, refresh your browser, or clear your cookies and revisit the site -- I got it merely by refreshing so hopefully for everyone else it should work the same way. :D

(hooray, now I have an easier time finding Abaissé in my 40+ Opera tabs...)
