In a way, a female OC/Ami fic would actually be a very believable possibility. There is some material to work with apart from Musichetta's identity: the lady who asked for ten louis from Bossuet, Bahorel's laughing mistress, and even Grantaire's attempts to pursue women.

I think its even in the brick when they discuss Enjolras' lack of mistress that all of them have 'sort of' mistresses, isn't it?

one might say that an Ami/OFC is actually kind of canon ;-)

Yeah actually! As to the nature of these things, no one knows. But it does mean some sort of involvement that has been long-standing!

Yeah true. Therefore as long as its well done and not Mary-Sueish and ami-OFC except for Enjolras and Marius of course (and joly when its not musichetta...) should be good on that front :-)

Actually with Courfeyrac, multiple OFCs are acceptable. He has a collection.

And Grantaire/anyone unrequited would be acceptable too.

I sometimes wonder a) what Hugo would think of Eppyboppers, and b) if there were actually any back in his day.
