I was thinking "Sweet Liberty" from Jane Eyre for Combeferre maybe, but I'm not sure.
Tomorrow will come no matter what, but it is up to you to make it better than today.

"You Don't Know You're Beautiful" always makes me think of those chapters where Cosette is gettin' all purty...
"Red" by Taylor Swift for Enj. Not seriously, I just...like to imagine him finding this song and starting to play it all excited, thinking it's gonna be revolutionary, and then...XD...think I wrote a fic that went something like that once, actually.

Not a song, but the "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" soliloquy sounds so much like Grantaire.

King and Lionheart reminds me of Grantaire and Enjolras. Especially the line,

"And as the world comes to an end,
I'll be there to hold your hand,
Cause you're my king, and I'm your lionheart"

Die Sonate Von guten Menschen reminds me of a lot of characters' struggles with reaching that moment of light, mainly Valjean, Grantaire, Fantine and Éponine.

Chambers and Valves from Dry the River reminds me of the relationship between Marius and Cosette and Valjean's difficult acceptance of it.

Below My Feet from Mumford and Sons reminds me of Valjean and his relationship to God/the Bishop.

All I really want to do by Bob Dylan reminds me of Grantaire.

I fought the law by the Clash reminds me of all the Revolutionaries.

For some really bizarre reason, anytime I hear Sing, Sing, Sing I'll always think of Courfeyrac. Maybe it's because I have this thing about Les Amis/WWII-era France. Maybe I just can really picture him dancing to it. But I love how fun and bouncy and lively it is but then it gets really intense sometimes and it just goes everywhere and is really infectious and fun and... I dunno.

This is actually for a fic I haven't read, but it's one of the best Grantaire playlists I've been able to find.

It's perfect for Les Amis and some of the lyrics seem to apply directly to Enjolras- but it mostly reminds me of Marius years after Barricade day.

I hope this political song comparison doesn't step on anyone's toes here but whenever I hear the song " I Am America" by Krista Branch I think of Enjolras. Some are probably thinking what in the world does a song about 21st century America have to with a fictional character from an 19th century novel but the song is about the government stepping on the rights of the individual and not listening to the cries of the people. Some of the lyrics include lines like:
"Pay no attention to the people in the street crying out for accountability."
"Pretend you're kings and sit on your thone. Look down your nose at the peasants below."

Some of the things Enjolras and the friends were fighting for we were the rights of the individual over the rights of the government ( the king).

Interpret the political leanings of the Friends anyway you like but I'd like to think that if Enjolras came to life and found himself in 21st century America he'd be leading the Tea Party movement. At least that's how I see it
