When you said Hells on Wheels, that wasn't quite what I was expecting!
(first image doesn't work by the way)
But yes, she very much looks the part!

Aw, she is.

So, my headcanon Courfeyrac has pretty much always been blonde, blue-green eyes, with a particular face shape that has some official name somewhere but yeah. Anyway, while I was doing history homework, I came across a painting that looked almost exactly like my mental Courfeyrac, only needing slighly longer hair.

Image

The subject of said painting is Joseph Smith.

I'm not sure what to think of that. Or if this'll offend anyone, but it's not meant to, I promise.

But still.

So, I was watching the 1976 adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray tonight, and I noticed that Peter Firth as Dorian looks quite a bit like my mental image of Enjolras, despite having the wrong colour eyes. Unfortunately I could only find one decent sized image, and he doesn't look quite as angelic here as at some points in the film.

David Thaxton is my Enjolras, although Tveit was one of the rare good points of the movie - I can understand why Tveitjolras has all the fangirls.
Gorgeous avatar by unknown. Yes, fan of 2004 POTO, while NOT fan of 2012 Les Misérables! I can mumble and cry without music too...

< this is my headcanon mental Javert. The actual man is a Romanian former secret service agent. We had to read about him for my International Relations class, and the whole time I was picturing him as Javert..

I always see them as they are drawn in the illustrations, depending which ones I saw first. Except Valjean, who I usually see as Harry Baur from the 1934 film or the guy from the 1964 italian miniseries.

And that train station kid from Korra is totally Gavroche.

Mako would make a good Marius. He's got the broody whiner part down perfectly but he can be really reckless in battle.

  That actually occurred to me too, my thought process didn't get as far as to make him my face character for Javert, but I definitely was reminded of him, I figured it was just my mind automatically thinking sideburns= Javert  (to be fair though most of the fire nation has sideburns!!)

Thanks to Lord Jon's intro post, I've been picturing Stannis Baratheon from the Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones series as Javert, and wondering if Stephen Dillane could pull off Javert in some version. Could be fun to see! :D
