Oh hey, I have original 1832 & 1834 prints of those hanging on my walls. Thought they looked familiar!

I don't have exact measurements, but not all that much larger than a sheet of A4 paper.

Hm...I'll stick to my mental image of a wall-size map with handwritten amis notes all over it. *fantasy beats reality*

Amis notes of what? :D
Revolution: like Christmas come early only with more death
Abaisse Chief/Chef
"Les Amis Fun Package - The Awesome Traits of Each"
"She's basically Enjolras meets Amy Pond"
Sings Stars "way better than Russel Crowe"

i preemptively adore your map geekery because that is exactly the sort of thing i am looking for in my preparation for studying abroad in paris.

... yes, okay, i may be planning to visit and perhaps memorialize every les mis site i can find.

Watching Let's Play videos of Assassin's Creed: Unity in hope of seeing the Rue de la Chanvrerie in one of them, I was reminded of the Plan de Turgot again. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turgot_map_of_Paris
So beautiful! Especially a certain inner city part... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... _KU_10.jpg
Looks just like Hugo described it. You can even see the Corinth! The triangle shaped block under it was the inspiration for the Les Mis movie set. The junction rue de la grande and de la petite Truanderie has its own interesting story: The lithography depicts the Au Puit D'Amour which stands at the small square formerly known as the Place du Puits d'Amour or Square of the Well of Love. An older name is Carrefour de l'Ariane or Crossroads of Ariane.
