Revolution: like Christmas come early only with more death
Abaisse Chief/Chef
"Les Amis Fun Package - The Awesome Traits of Each"
"She's basically Enjolras meets Amy Pond"
Sings Stars "way better than Russel Crowe"

The score has some really great moments. I do love a rock musical.

I know, "I'm Alive" has me dancing around my room every time I hear it.

I was never into rock musicals, but this one is an exception. Not sure if my favorite song is "I'm Alive" or "Superboy and the Invisible Girl".

"I'm Alive!" Why is it so addictive!!??

Also "I am the One." It's such a beautiful song.
Why are all the slightly creepy songs so lovely!?

Because (even without the video of the performance), it's still written to be contagious. :)

Well yes, that's another way of putting it. :)

It's also just the sheer energy in the song. It does off-set the creepy context.

It does, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to listen to it in the same way after I understood the plot of the show... but no... it's still the same. :D

I personally find the song "You Don't Know" to be very powerful. It's very visceral and it brings me back to what I've learned about depression and mania.

Actually this entire musical gives me the feels; reminds me of far too many things really.

I can't even listen/see a clip of that scene without getting the chills, feeling frightened and feeling just as lost as Diane is feeling at that moment. It's just that potent and gripping.

My thoughts exactly.
