I really enjoy music of Cocciante/Plamondon version, although I dislike the visual style, especially the costuming.

So Disney's Hunchback is playing now at La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego. I've only heard bits and pieces, but it seems like they've tried bringing it closer to the novel than the film or the Berlin production were, notably in giving more of Claude Frollo's backstory. The production design seems much less ornate than Berlin's, though, and the cast doesn't seem quite as vocally impressive. And they took the epic key change out of "Hellfire." :( But I'd still be interested in seeing/hearing more.
