Hah, that's fantastic. Feels a bit weird watching a Christmas video in May, though.

It makes it even more absurd. :D

I saw that a while ago; I don't understand how 11 is DWM...and some of them sound really bad against the chord structure... but mostly fun...

This skit is strangely hilarious:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCIwlOVYUzw

Valjean has to report to Javert when he's first arrested. Consequences are... odd...

And the sequel: (in two parts)

PART ONE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Opo1BUVC4nw

Valjean smuggles illegal Mexicans into France for Fantine; Javert chases him.

PART TWO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av3VT2N1BtA

Valjean reports to Fantine to tell her that the Mexicans are safe; Javert enters the their hotel room and Confrontation occurs. Followed by an interesting dance-off.

Aren't those (well, at least the first one) based on a fanfiction?

Here is a little four-part documentary about when Les Misérables first transferred across the pond to Broadway. There are some clips of the OLC and some adorable images of the cast members very, very young.

Like Anthony Crivello with an afro, Colm Wilkinson with brown hair, Frances Ruffelle looking about my age, Terrence Mann with his curly shoulder-length black hair (and looking very much like a young Tim Curry) and a slim little Michael Ball also with curly shoulder-length hair.

Kerry Ellis - one of the best Fantines I've ever heard. Maybe it's just that there are a lot of mediocre Fantines, but she is incredible.

Apart from the fact that she keeps on shouting random words.

You don't know how happy that makes me. He was my first Javert and he's every bit as awesome as I remembered.

His suicide scene is absolutely fierce. Wounded, enraged animal fierce.

A list of things that people should know about the show. Amusing, in that it's so true!
