My thoughts exactly :D I looked through his insta feed (don't judge) and found a glorious hairpic that was so Enjolras I almost forgot I'm still mourning Chris Cowley (only almost)

Precisely. I'm a sucker for good hair.

Good hair is the most important thing in an Enjolras. No apologies.

Er...the first thing that came into my mind was "how old is he???" because he looks around my age in the photo.

I kind of want to see an Enjolras in the TAC style again (I keep forgetting his name...something like McGill??) but it seems that recent Enjolrases are all...um...like this? But yes, he looks pretty! :D

:O Olivia, you are awesome!

Just listened, and I'm pleasantly surprised by Hyoie. Not that I thought he would be bad, but anyways. How was he performance-wise? And Killian, I just love him! I could definitely hear his voice was tired, but he's soo good. I really love his voice :D

Oooh, thanks, Olivia! I'm not sure how I feel about Hyoie yet. Tough to say, it feels a little warbly but I don't hate it. I'll have to see him in action before I can make any definite judgment calls.

The reason I uploaded 'Who Am I' is because his voice was completely shot by 'Bring Him Home' - remember he did eight shows that week and JVJ is not an easy role. As time goes on and he builds his stamina I think it wouldn't be as much of a problem.

As for Hyoie, he does this thing where he sometimes drags a note for too long and then has to rush through the rest of the line, but it's early days and he definitely has potential.

I finally watched a video of Killian. He was a good Enjolras...until the Final Battle. The way he sang "until the earth is free" made me roflmao   Now, his "Who am I" - it's not that bad actually but I can't help but think "could he be doing the same thing here?" and crack up at my own mental image. Can't stop laughing whenever I recall that scene.

It's really worrisome that my weird sense of humor is turning Les Mis into a comedy.

I'm excited for West End live. They usually do Bring Him Home, On My Own and One Day more right? Would be nice to get some variety, maybe Valjean's soliloquy instead of Bring him Home, and I'd love to see At the end of the day

Oh btw I'm happy to report that Killian has kept the adorable nose-bopping of Cosette (but less happy to report that Hyoie hasn't yet subscribed to Chris' philosophy of having one's shirt unbuttoned to the navel).

Last year they did a mash-up of OMO and IDAD, personally I didn't like it but it was quite popular so they might try it again?

This makes me happy :D The nose-bopping thing is so adorable (we need more pictures of Chris and his unbuttoned shirt though)

I'm really looking forward to Saturday next week now, this thread's getting me all excited!

What are Carly and Karis like as Fantine and Éponine respectively?
I'm the one to shout "Down with Polignac!"
