I still don't get a lot of gutter things, but if the good must be innocent then I have no doubt Combeferre would be appalled at me.

"Simply a game for rich young boys to play" makes me laugh ever since reading the Miserable Diaries.

How about "how can I now allow this man to hold dominion over me?" - Javert

Just think about it.......

And just to clarify, my mind doesn't wander off into the slash realm... it was your guys' fault! XD
Someday I'll find my very own Marius... :D

I know this thread hasn't been updated in a while, but I had to respond.

"A night full of you..."

Wow, my mind has been violated. I will never be able to see the show again without dying of lulz in the process.

Yep, slashfic has definitely tainted my mind.

The line "Take me now!" from Bring Me Home always cracks me up now. Just think about that line with a more sexual connotation - and you have that image.

Actually, I was watching the 25th Anniversary Concert over the weekend with a friend seeing it for the first time. I used to have a crush on him, but then I discovered Les Amis - but I digress. At this point, we're both in tears and fighting over the Kleenex box - and I start laughing and snickering. Definitely ruined the moment...

I absolutely adore all of you for being such pervs.

That's one thing about the fandom I've observed over the years that is consistent--we've all got our minds in the gutter, and aren't at all apologetic for it either.

Instead, we create sexual musical lines threads and compose slashy fic, hooray!

^ Exactly this. :D Hooray for fandom!

"Come, my love! Come, Cosette! This day's blessings are not over yet!" o.O Especially since it's coming from Marius.

Most of the other notable ones have been said, but my favorites are, "Monsieur le Mayor, you'll wear a different chain," and, "I'll make you scream, you'll scream all right!" (That last one is mostly because I always hear it as "you'll scream all night.")

What about
"On my own pretending he's beside me."
"Without him I feel his arms around me."
My favorite is " There's a bed to rest 'till morning."

Don't know if anyone mentioned "A night full of you"
Tomorrow will come no matter what, but it is up to you to make it better than today.

I don't know if it was said but in French when Javert says "I never shall yield till we come face to face... till we come face to face" he says "je ne faiblirais point tant qu'il ne sera pas à genoux devant moi".

That means he never shall yield till Valjean is on his knees before him.

Can it be more explicit? :D

"Forgive me sir, I would not dare."
"Say what you must. Don't leave it there."

*snicker*
And I will be a revolution
Be a voice beyond these lies
If it takes my life
And I will not be lost in silence
I will not let darkness hide
This hope beyond my sight
The reason for my life
The revolution

What about "They will wet themselves with blood"? Think about what Javert really means by that.

Here's one:
"Take this man and bring him through, there is work we have to do!"

Does Enjolras have any lines that can't be twisted?

I haven't read all the posts in this thread so this one might have been mentioned already, but, um, your intentions may not be correct... And then of course there's a night full of you which was already mentioned but it messes with my mind SO bad.

This has been mentioned loads of times already but

"A night full of you" absolutely SLAYS me. I'm convinced they put that line there to relieve the heavy atmosphere left behind by supremely depressing string of scenes that is The Final Battle to Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.

I mean, gosh Cosette, Marius is still using a cane and you're already talking about future sweaty naughty funtimes?
