I do love this thread so much. I feel it says a lot about us as a fandom :D
Revolution: like Christmas come early only with more death
Abaisse Chief/Chef
"Les Amis Fun Package - The Awesome Traits of Each"
"She's basically Enjolras meets Amy Pond"

I love this thread too!! I remember stealing pictures from this thread before I even bothered to register an account and making them my cell phone wallpapers during exam week. I've literally told my friends "it's me after the final exam"...oh gosh that was so stupid...

Slightly off-topic...but I actually skip this scene every time I watch videos. I decided to skip it right after watching the first bootleg. The background music was killing me. I'm not even really attached to the amis like many other fans, but seeing Enjolras and Gavroche lying there dead while BHH (like seriously, BRING HIM HOME, of all the songs they could have used) is playing in the background really breaks my heart. If only Valjean could bring them all home! :(

Done right, it's a moment that can get me a wee bit emotional. Only with certain casts though.

It sure does ... one way or another. I feel at home here which says a lot about me.
Don't mess with Texas! We mess up enough by ourselves.
I have actually made bullets like they're doing in my avatar. Then loaded the gun with a ramrod, and shot it. But I'm not feeling real good about guns right now.

Eep, every time the moment comes around I'm usually human fountain, regardless of if it's live or I'm watching a boot. I think the worst was last time I went though, I was crying anyway from Eponines death onwards, and then when the barricade turned after final battle I just lost it. I feel sorry for my friend who went with me, though I heard him sniffing too.

I can imagine that if some ridiculously disastrous casting happened, I would applause excitedly at the scene thinking "thank God he's dead!"

So, believing that I would react as such, I decided to watch the international tour video again, this time from the beginning to the end without skipping anything to get to JVJ's parts. I've seen the cart from pictures and, to be honest, been rather curious how it would work. Now I finally saw it. OH MY GOD. It totally reminded me of that scene from Schindler's List, where the little girl was lying in a cart among the dead bodies. I had thought I would be less distressed watching a terrible Enjolras, but I was wrong. The whole lying-in-cart thing was so disturbing that I would probably even feel sorry for...say, Drew Sarich's Enjolras.

I swear I'm never going to watch the Final Battle again.

It amuses me they're still using the Thaxton-era pictures in their promos

(Too late now, but really wish they filmed new adverts using the 2016/17 cast).

Hyoie does the open-eyed death on stage (although not every time), he'll probably do that for the new brochure shots.

The open eyes creep me out  The hair looks good though, which we all know is what really matters.

He looks a little too happy to be dead, if you ask me.

Tiens, tiens... salut, petit Enjolras. Ça va, aujourd'hui?
