Vic's on the Index auctorum et librorum prohibitorum

Unsurprising to find him there for being heretical and/or immoral, but extremely heartening: all the best French literature seems to be on it!
Index auctorum et librorum prohibitorum
- Entends-tu? je t'aime! cria-t-il encore.
- Quel amour! dit la malheureuse en frémissant.
Il reprit: - L'amour d'un damné.

What a lousy idea from Catholic Church. Interesting list, though.
