Well he's compared to Tholomyes isn't he? And I always imagined him as quite... rounded.

No, I'm kidding. Actually, I thought Epo9 was pretty funny. But then, I tend to disagree with people on this site about pretty much everything. I'm like the Grantaire of this site, oh dear!

If you're Grantaire can I be one of the other Amis? Joly?

And I've got some more (not-very-inventive) nicknames:

For Combeferre: Saint Combey
Wise Man of the Forest
Sir Perfection
Doc

For Enjolras: I just realised if you reeeeally stretch matters you could call him GiGi. (Enjy ... jy ... GiGi)
Enj (give it the French pronunciation, it's "Ange" which is perfect! He's described as "angelically beautiful" after all!

Laigle: Laigle the Lucky Leprechaun. I came up with this one when under the influence of sugar ...
Dopey (well he WAS the bald dwarf)

Jean Prouvaire: Prouvie (this is what my sister used to call him when she couldn't remember his name)
Jehan the Man (if you totally ignore how it's supposed to be pronounced)
JP
Bashful

Feuilly: Leaf-boy
Squdgie-wudgums (I dunno, I can't see any of them taking kindly to that)

Joly: Jolly-wolly
Jolly roll (get it? like a jelly roll ... )
Sneezy

Courfeyrac: OK, I doubt he'd agree to Courfey ...
If we're going with the pop theme, could he be Coke?
Coof the Loof (again courtesy of my little sister)

Grantaire: Tai-tai
'Sinthia (short for absinthe)
by the same token, Abby
Tairy

Javert: Javex ... like the bleach ...
J-pop
'Vert

You do know that Tai-tai is (according to Amy Tan), a Chinese term for wife? Poor Grantaire.

...I may have taken that one a bit too seriously.

I was scrolling through the recent posts on this and just wanted to remind everyone of Thénardier being referred to as "The Nardster" and "T-Diddy."

Poor Grantaire indeed! I had no idea, but that just makes the nickname all the more amusing ...

I almost rolled on the floor laughing here right now. I can't get over it! :P I think I'll always call him one of that now. 8)

I'm also enjoying "T-Diddy"

My friend has always called Valjean "Breadknife". Think about it....there you go.
I assume that "Snookums" is still floating around for Javert, but of course the worst thing you can call Javert is simply by pronouncing the "t", and for this, I often call my sideburned Irish friend a terrible J-vert when he brings up J/JVJ.

T-Diddy<3

Um. Courfeyrac is "FeyFey", and Enjolras is:

-Zyorasu-chan DDD:
-Leaderboi
-Antero/Antti/Antsa
-Creepydoll
-Princess (oh, ew)
-Hen (based on stupid pun of another commonly-used stupid nickname)

When giving V. H. credit on my abominations, I cite him as "L'Hugomaster."

Yeah somewhere on the board we also had him referred to as The Hugonator.

In the same vein as "T-Diddy", I've also heard Thénardier called "Mr. T".

A few little nicknames from an RP site:

Combeferre: 'Ferre-bear

Cosette: Cosie, Cozy, Teacozy

Feuilly: Feu

Azelma: Shroo (<--I'm trying to remember the logic behind that one.... since it's my fault...)

(Hi, I'm new here)

Enjolras - Jol or Enjy-benjy or Jae (Julien Antoine Enjolras)
Courfeyrac - Courfs or Glomps
Feuilly - Fiddlesticks (my friend's input)

Hallo CitizenTaffy! Welcome, and feel free to introduce yourself in the "Introductions" thread!

I rather like "Glomps" for Courfeyrac ... and Fiddlesticks! Haha! :D

Has "Momo" already been suggested for Montparnasse?

That's not his name?

I generally refer to Javert as Javiekinz. Or Javiepoo, depending on my mood.

Or sometimes I just call him "Mr. Sexy", and my friends know who I'm talking about...
