Prayer Requests

Postby Mademoiselle Mabeuf » Tue Jun 18, 2013 1:29 am

This is just a thread for anything that is going on in your life that you feel comfortable sharing and want us to pray about.

I'll go first. Lizbeth was an amazing person and it's terrible that she had to leave us. I might have known her a bit longer than everyone else, as we were friends on fanfiction.net before she came here, but I'm pretty sure everyone she met loved her. We miss you, Lizbeth.

Actually, that family I know who lost their house to a fire.

I'm afraid my prayers always sound so blunt, whenever I pray in public and not as polished and beautiful as prayers elders at my church give. But nonetheless they are prayers to the same God who knows all of our needs. :)

God doesn't care how polished our prayers sound, he loves them all the same. :D

Exactly!! :D Just as my childhood salvation confession was pretty simple, said in a now mostly abandoned sunday school room--- but God does not care :) As long as it is honest.

Not sure :( I never discussed religion with her... Back in February or March, Liberty and I had a discussion about salvation views and different religions--- but normally that topic does not come up often. Except when I made the character headcanon religious views quiz.

Dear God,
I hope that Lizbeth is up there with you right now. I know you love her more than we ever could, and we're so glad to know that she's in your hands.
Amen.

Beautiful prayer <3

I still remember that religion discussion, it started because my college (Liberty University) had a project where we had to go up to a diverse group of people and ask them about spiritual beliefs. I tried doing it on campus, but than decided to do it here because it was late and night, and I was on the laptop writing an essay. It was interesting :)

I'm not sure if I can find it again, try searching terms like "salvation" or "religion"
