Aw two weeks for being in London! I have to finish like a hundred works before leaving (cause I don't want to leave them all for the only two days I'm back before deadline days because that would make me stress in London... that makes that I have one week less than I should for doing them haha but better being stressed now than watching les mis!!)

Congrats Phan!! :)

Em I'm so sorry about that :( But thanks god you and your people are okay!!

Oh well, it's all over now. But closing night was pretty spectacular. :D I'm going to miss my friends though.

Congrats Phan!

Officially unlearning sleep. It's 5am and I'm up reading about malaria.

So I just completed my Nanowrimo novel.
Especially exciting as its the first time I've ever finished a multichapter manuscript that wasn't for school.

You should try to get some sleep, Relly. Don't forget it's easier to remember things when you're rested.

I miss sleeping, really. My body is so wired to wake up after 4-5 hours now. Nevertheless I now officially need a 36 hour day to accommodate that insane thing that is called my right brain.

I'm glad your show went well, Phantom! :D

Oh, psh, Zelle, I'm auditioning for a theatre outside of school. I just wanted to learn the jazz combinations because why not?

Did I tell you guys about my theatre of cruelty piece where we shoved people into lockers and messed with them for 10-15 minutes...? :P That's how some people in my group are recognized by underclassmen!
"Which acting are you in?" "Oh, our class is just teching this." "...you shoved me into a locker!"

And I saw Catching Fire twice this past weekend and my love for The Hunger Games from middle school has been thoroughly revived. Finnick Odair!!!

I've got my cell phone ringtone set as Do You Hear The People Sing? And almost every time it rings in a public place someone comments on it. 8)

I had an awkward moment with that today. I left my phone in my coat because I was in such a faff this morning. I left it on ringtone rather than silent because I'm an idiot. And I left my coat in a colleague's classroom. Guess whose class got to hear the Broadway Rocks the Vote DYHTPS midway through a class?

Absolutely! I'm bringing some culture to them!
To be fair, I was teaching an intro to costume, hair and makeup today and took pictures from things like Les Mis, Phantom, Hairspray, etc. And two of my most difficult kids recognised David Bowie in his Labyrinth wig and started singing the songs from it! So they are doing not too bad for culture!

Ahhh, Acaila! Can I be in your class?! I would've sang Magic Dance with them! And I love the British worm who invites Sarah in for a cup of tea. c':

(Though the real star of that movie was David Bowie's pants. *cough*)

You really wouldn't want to be, that class feature those only known as "the demonspawn". But hey, I don't have to teach them again.

Phan congratulations! Zelle I hope you've managed to get some sleep :?
Classes might start on Monday, at least they say that a compromising solution has been found. If we really start I will make you all a huge baricake
Acaila you may be proud of me today! First day that I tried to cook after the half-successful cheespie in August. Made brownies and I daresay they were awesome! Decided to have learnt how to make at least five dishes until the Christmas party I'm hosting for my friends who're coming back from abroad God I'm so excited, I've missed them so much, our group is half without them and it makes us all so catatonic, and not having started classes didn't help with me finding any new acquaintances but they're coming back I want to scream how happy I am from a rooftop.
And.
I just booked my tickets.
For Les Mis.
I think I'm about to have a seizure.
The happiest seizure of my life.
Then I saw their trembling features warp and, gradually,
Their foreheads turn pale and dissolve in front of me,
And everyone, like a stream that flows into a sea,
Became completely lost in a dark immensity.
