Thanks :D

(I don't understand why more people don't draw her as a brunette, brunettes are much easier to draw :P )

I think it's the movie. But I always imagine Cosette as a brunette with ringlets. (that's the only thing she got from Tholomyes!!)

It's actually pretty interesting what the movie seems to have influenced about how people see the characters and what it hasn't. Like, it seems to have had a lot of effect on how a lot of people draw Cosettes and Grantaires but not a huge amount on e.g. Jehan

True.

Actually if I could I'd like to try to compare fanart trends over the years to trace any influence from the Broadway and West End productions. But that would be time consuming.

Oh, I love it, Morgan, and yes, it is nice to see brunette Cosette. She looks so....playful, it's just really sweet.

And the Fauchelevents are great, too, especially the way they're just looking at each other. I can almost imagine them just...not talking, not saying a word, on a regular basis, and it not being necessary.

Personally, I draw blonde Cosette simply because even though I know it contradicts Brick, I can't get it out of my head that her hair was the one treasure she inherited from Fantine, and, well, yeah, I just can't seem to draw her without that in my head. Which was why it was extremely ironic for the movie to come out, and have blonde Cosette, yes, but a brunette Fantine!

I...almost wish that someone could do that, now. I'd love to see it. It would be one monster of a project to tackle, but a pretty amazing one.

Yeah, I can understand that. I might well draw her blonde if it wasn't for the fact that when I draw blondes it often ends up meaning drawing brunettes and then rubbing stuff out until it's light enough to pass for blonde. So yeah, brunette Cosette is way easier fr me

Ok. Ok I can't speak. These are downright gorgeous. I mean... I'm speechless. In so many ways these are so beautiful, full of life. Your Feuilly might be the love of my life. Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing, these sketches are a blessing!
Then I saw their trembling features warp and, gradually,
Their foreheads turn pale and dissolve in front of me,
And everyone, like a stream that flows into a sea,
Became completely lost in a dark immensity.

Perhaps. :D Especially since you know...I'm looking at your drawing of Éponine right now and I *swear* that is her expression in a chapter I just wrote in fic....

*throws computer*

No, Morgan. You do not get to be THIS good at drawing, as well. It's not fair.

As well as what?

(genuinely confused now; as well as something else I'm good at? as well as someone else who is good? who? what? help?)
