Evil child. Now, give me Épparnasse.
"Citizens," cried Enjolras, and in his voice there was almost an angry tremor, "the Republic is not rich enough in men to incur useless expenditures."

I have an "Agony of Death After the Agony of Life" thing in the works if that quells you.

Now, to accompany Combeferre and Courfeyrac, here's an Enjolras. (which started out as Christopher Jacobsen but ended up becoming a headcanon.)

Awwww thanks! *smish*

Considering that it's goldenboi, I don't think it matters too much if he looks like a woman

Cute! I can almost imagine something like sparkles or embroidery on that coat; is that the effect you were looking for there with that detail?

It's embroidery indeed! I was looking through coats from around 1810 and saw one like that that had embroidered patterns on it. Perfect for Prouvaire I thought. Wish I could find it now...

Come to think of it, I think most characters I draw a lot have definitive 'costumes' now; Cosette has the pale blue with a bow and puffy sleeves, as well as a locket, Marius has Courfeyrac's green coat and a striped waistcoat, Prouvaire has the pink/red coat, a dark green waistcoat with some kind of froth for a cravat, Combeferre has the Ugly Green Thing, Courfeyrac has the green waistcoat and purple coat, etc.

I can explain.
Well, sorta.
You know those caps of Crimson Peak that have been circling the internet? Well, there's some of Tom Hiddleston that, when I saw them, reminded me a tiiiiiny bit of Marius. Thus, the seed was sown, I got bored this afternoon and...yeah.
(He's looking at Cosette, by the way)

I just love this so much ahhh :D Lately I've been struggling with imagining Marius as well as I'd like to(especially as the book seemed to contradict some headcanons I had before I read it), and... This might just become my new headcanon. It helps, at least. It's just so Marius I can't even *all the squee*

Love this too. And your Éponine. The 2nd one at least. She was seriously awesome.

*cue more fangirlish squees*

A younger Tom Hiddleston may just knock a younger Ewen McGregor in 'the Red and the Black' out of top spot for a Marius faceclaim now

Ooh that one never occurred to me!
Probably because, even though I knew Les Mis before I knew Moulin Rouge(the only thing I've seen McGregor in other than Star Wars), and normally it would be natural to make connections between the 2(partly because France and Paris and stuff, and also because everything can be connected to Les Mis) especially with the character being so similar, I watched that before I had any idea that Marius' hair was supposed to be black, so didn't really make any connections appearance-wise...

Both are pretty good ones to be honest
