I know, Rachel, and I've got nearly two thousand words of crap. I hate deadlines.

And good luck, Acaila!

Hah. Done. 1441 words.

will do something else, then edit, then post :-)

It's past midnight here, so I may. (I also may not have time to post tomorrow, so better get it out of the way...)

Acaila, I have faith in you. It will be fine in the end :-)

Exactly. Quality, not quantity.

Yes, I'm done. I might go back and add to/edit Grantaire's rants a bit tonight, but it would also work as-is.

Congrats, Spirit!

Marius, I'm sure it's not crap. *glomp* And whatever you get will be fine, Acaila, I'm sure.

Yaaaay, I finished the first draft! And just in time, too. >whew< Now just to edit this...thing. I'm sure I'll post later with an update that that's easier said than done.

128 words actually typed up, maybe 250 including my handwritten pieces. I'm not completely hating mine yet, but I'm way behind and still stumped on how to handle Mme. T and M. T. :?

Okay. I cave in. Putting it up now, because I may not have the time tomorrow evening depending on how my evening goes.

Looking forward to reading it!

That they are. :? I've actually never even written anything with the Thenardier children, so this has been entirely new experience. On the plus side though, what I thought would only amount to 250 or so words, is currently at 408. This may grow to be more massive than I anticipated.

Okay... first one up. Hope you like it

Ah - and leave me a comment what you think :-)

PS: This was fun. We should do this more often

I love doing this with you all too! If I didn't have a fic list to tackle that is a mile long, I'd say we should do it very soon.

I'm beginning to think I won't even get to the Thenardier parents. Sorry Acaila! I know that was the original intent of the prompt, but the muse pulled me the direction of the Thenardier children instead.

Edit: Actually looking at it, I just realized that M. and Mme. Thenardier do make a small appearance in the story, so I didn't completely fail on that point.

They are all going to be amazing, so much better than my 1500 words of shame, really! I am in the school library and I simply can't wait to start reading! I'll post mine when I get back home.
Then I saw their trembling features warp and, gradually,
Their foreheads turn pale and dissolve in front of me,
And everyone, like a stream that flows into a sea,
Became completely lost in a dark immensity.

1500 words of shame? I don't believe you, Liv. I'm looking forward to yours.

You have no right to speak, you painfully talented person!

Ha, well, we'll see about that soon enough, when I've finally edited the stuffing out of mine enough so that it's not, well, just that. Painful. Kudos to all you who posted yours first thing. >shakes head<
