No excuses at all, I will try my best until I go to bed :)
Individual threads sounds good, thanks for the answer!
Then I saw their trembling features warp and, gradually,
Their foreheads turn pale and dissolve in front of me,
And everyone, like a stream that flows into a sea,
Became completely lost in a dark immensity.

>sigh< No excuses. All right. Huh, individual threads. Okay. That'll...work. Is there a specific time we have to be done by, Acaila?

EDIT: Also, they can be anything, right, or is there more of an approximate length?

It has to be posted on the 6th of June in your timezone I'd say, that sounds fair?

I'm at the stage of utterly hating mine and wanting to start again. Despite the fact I should be in bed already and am working tomorrow.

Well, best of luck to all of you still working on it.

Definitely fair. >sigh< I'm filling in all the parts I skipped. Not good, not good. Thanks for the luck, though, Gervais.

OK, mine is 1,633 words. Ending's a bit rushed, but I've written worse.

And a prostitute tries to pick up Valjean. He's adorably awkward.

1,072. Feels a little short, but it's long enough that it works, I guess.

Valjean and a prostitute? That does sound potentially adorable.

I think they are, Acaila.

Mine's over a thousand seven hundred words, and it's not even done.

I edited it, and it's now 2,071 words and I'm happyish with it. The empty bottle only had a brief cameo, oops.

The prostitute is Grantaire's sister, and it's painfully awkward and then painfully sad.

And I am, Acaila. I did it last night and edited today.
