MmeJavert and I have been a bit concerned lately about it not being clear when we're speaking as admins and when we're just speaking as regular users whose posts have no more weight than anyone else's. We want to be clear when we're acting as mods and when we're not, and we don't want anyone to feel dogpiled or rebuked if one of us disagrees with them. To that end, we've created a separate account for official business, called Abaissé Voice of Mod. Our regular account names will no longer show up red and bolded, and you can safely assume that anything we say under them is personal and not official. The Voice of Mod account will be used for official announcements, updates, warnings, etc.
If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints about official board business, you can send a PM to one of our personal accounts, or you can PM the Voice of Mod account and MmeJavert will be the one to get the notification. (At the moment we can't link two emails to one account, so although both of us will be able to see any PMs you send to Abaissé Voice of Mod, she'll be the one who hears about it first.)
This is partly inspired by recent events, and partly something we've both been concerned about for a while. Let us know if there's anything else about the mod policy you'd like to see changed.
[Dieu] entend ta voix, ô fille des hommes! aussi bien que celle des constellations; car rien n'est petit pour celui devant lequel rien n'est grand.
