Yeah, I knew as soon as I saw it that the chance of it being a pro shot was zero, but I'm trying this new thing where I'm an optimist

So this is exciting! What do you think it means? The blind optimist in me wishes it's a pro shot, but the realist thinks not. Any thoughts?

Re: West End Cast - 2017/2018

I agree about yelling lines, there are few instances where it works. I think it usually works very well at the very end of ABC Café, to break up some of the monotomy of singing so many lines with the same melody.

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Back in Duisburg 96, Enjolras Martin Berger and Éponine Sanni Luis became a couple for a while, don't think it was very long. There was even a news about it in the Stella (production company responsible for all major German musical productions back then) newspaper. Also, Killian Donnelly and Sam Ba...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

About to go submit my dissertation and wave farewell to student life. Feels a bit surreal. Probably because I'm seriously sleep deprived. It's been a while since I'd pulled all nighters and it feels a lot like jetlag. Good luch and congrats :D What's your dissertation about? I just started my last ...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

The business of musical theatre isn't that big (as shown by the many overlaps between big shows) so it's not impossible. I can't think of any Marius/Cosette or Éponine/Gavroche examples at the top of my head, but I'm still a fetus in the fandom compared to some so I'm sure some of the more adult fan...

Re: Songs that make you think of characters?

I really think The Parting Glass (Especially the Wailin' Jennys version) can be applied to Les Amis as a group. Here are the lyrics for those unfamiliar with the song: Oh all the money that e'er I spent I spent it in good company And all the harm that e'er I've done Alas, it was to none but me And a...
