I couldn't get to sleep until 11:30 am, and just woke up. I forgot that Midol contained caffine. It was hellish.

Oh man. Tosca is my favorite too! (At least, on par with Berg's 'Lulu' - for obvious reasons) That production looks amazing. I'm green with envy - Lucio Gallo is amazing, I can't imagine a better role for him.
You lucky lucky man. I'm going to go listen to my Callas recording now. :)

There are a whole bunch of Scarlet Pimpernel sequels. I spent a whole summer pouring through them.
They're hard to get a hold of (mostly of out of print), but so, so worth it.

When I have insomnia I usually end up on 4chan or rotten.com. Yeah, I know.

I usually get to bed around 4:30 or 5:00 am, and since I haven't had many obligations lately, wake up around 2:00. I promise I'm not as pathetic as this comment makes me sound.

Montparnasse is another interesting loose end.

Seriously. For such an intriguing character, he really doesn't get enough mention. Ditto with Babet.

I like anime if it is well-done, both visually and in terms of plot. From what I've seen of the 'Shoujo Cosette' (or whatever the title is) I hate it. The art is too abhorrant to be forgiven.

Granted, I always linked Raskolnikov to Marius since they were both Napoleon- obesessed peniless law students until Raskolnikov deciced to make himself a great man and did that bit with the ax. *attempts to avoid spoilers* I thought the same thing, incidentally. (A little bird told me Lacenaire had...
