Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Same here, no plans (except for one that takes merely two hours) for the weekend so far. And had one of those "I'm way too addicted to Les Mis"-moments today. We went to the local theatre to watch "Dantons Tod" on stage. All the characters were played by no more than three actors...

Re: Visual Inspirations for Characters

Yes... it's hard to believe that the guy he's playing actually is Stannis, you know? Not sure about Kit as Marius and the Mountain (S1) in any kind of role, but David Bradley just screams Thenardier... he knows how to play someone who breaks the sacred laws of hospitality ;) Any ideas on Mme. Thenar...

Re: Visual Inspirations for Characters

That train station boy definitely would make a great Gavroche... allthough my personal animated Gavroche will always be Kai. Don't care if he's to dark-skinned for that. And about Stannis/Stephen Dillane as Javert: Now I really want to see that. And Sophie Turner/Sansa as Fantine... never mind the r...

Re: Headcanons of Characters

No idea if anyone else here knows the anime "Fairy Tail" so I'll explain, but in this series there's another world called "Edolas" where quite a few major an minor characters have some sort of AU counterpart. Said counterpart is usually different from the original concerning thei...

Still dreaming about Mandy Patinkin as either Valjean or Javert.

Re: Well... g'morning.

Never really cared for Brienne, but Sansa actually is very interesting, especially regarding her potential character development throughout the series. I'm really curious what kind of person she turns out to be in the end. Well... Jaime changes from a "horrible person" to a better man. And...

Re: Well... g'morning.

@Lugitum: Well... I have no idea how my mother came in touch with it for the first time. She's seen the musical at least once (in German, of course), has seen some of the films and has read the brick. But don't ask me what came first, the hen or the egg. And no, didn't see the 1934 adaptation... at ...
