Re: Who am I? I'm Anonymous Axolotl!

Hi! I'm Butterfly :D I love your username; Axolotls are cool. If you'd like a nickname, maybe Axi or Lottie/Lotl? My favorite character is also Combeferre, although Jean Prouvaire is pretty close. So you've experienced the book and musical then? Awesome! Have you seen any of the movie adaptations? G...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

We'll miss you Acaila, good luck moving. Just had a conversation with my ten-year-old brother, to whom I recently showed portions of the 25th ac. Him: So, like four people survive Les Mis right? Marius, those Thenardiers... Me: And Cosette. In the play that's pretty much it. Him: Yeah, but WHAT ABOU...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

That....definitely sounds traumatizing.

I dreamed I went years into the future and meeting my little brother's girlfriend. I don't want to think about this, I wish him to stay Gavrochian forever...but anyway, yours wins.

And Happy Late Independence Day! :D

Re: Site issues?

Yes! I'm back on as well! :D Thanks MmeJavert. I saw someone post that clicking the log-in-automatically option helped things, so I did that. Hopefully we won't have too many others who are still unable to log in :?

Re: Coincidences related to Les Mis

We were driving down the street trying to find the address of a house we'd never been to before. I think the house number was 245something something, and when we were looking for the house my mom pointing to a house and asked "Is that it?" And then I said "No, that's 24601, I think w...

Re: Coincidences related to Les Mis

I was standing at the end of a check out line today and my mom was just finishing up her purchase and the cashier goes calmly, "That'll be $18.32", and she read it out like a date. :D I mean, what are the chances?

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Ah, okay. Sorry if I seemed close-minded! When does your next semester begin?

On a random note, I just listened to Fra Fee's Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. I'd never really heard him sing before....wow. The emotion he gives the song is so real, so powerful.

Hi, Sarah! (or Snowfwake--which would you prefer?) Welcome to Abaisse! :D I'm Butterfly, and I think we've met briefly on Fanfiction. Anything you need to know before posting is in the Important Information thread, and there are marked threads at the top of every subforum that explain its rules and ...

Re: The Rant thread

Wait. PBS' 25th LM airing was pitchbent? Also, I'm not really sure what that means. But it doesn't sound like something I'd appreciate, since that's been on our DVR for ages.

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Awesome, thanks. I'll keep in mind that it's potentially scary. Funny thing actually, I saw part of the end once (I was in a hotel on a group trip and it was on) and when the handsome blonde guy swept down into the fire to save Esmeralda, I was like, yeah, this has no remnant of Hugo. :) I'd like to...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

(Sorry for the change in conversation, but I've no idea World Cup-wise, so...)

What is the general opinion on Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame? I mean obviously, it's Disney, so not as an adaptation but just as a movie to watch with my little brothers, is it generally good?

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not very gifted in that sort of thing. It's pretty easy to find on youtube, but I can link it again if anybody so wishes. Thanks for the Thaxton audio, Acaila; I really like his voice for Javert and that song. It has the right amount of strength but I loved how he slowed down some...

Thank you...I will be sure to update on how it goes.

EDIT 6/17--She's safely out of surgery and doing well. :D She was in surgery for six hours and is now in ICU and starting down the long road of recovery. Thank you to those whose thoughts/prayers were/are with her!
