Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

That might be the most original instrument that Les Mis let alone any musical, has ever been played on! Would love to hear some clips!

Re: Site issues?

I am not experiencing any issues but I use the auto log in feature so that's probably why. Is this why it's been so quiet lately?

ETA: am now getting all the code when posting but it went through fine. Hopefully this can be fixed soon with minimal trouble!

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

So the other week found out that Adam Jacobs is in Aladdin. He was Marius when I saw les Mis 3nt in 2006. Still wish we were seeing Les Mis on Broadway but a show on Broadway is enough for me! Also Frozen is coming to Broadway?

Re: Demeter At Eleusis (12/30?)

So I rarely post in fandom related things for Les Mis these days. But I remember loving "Her Mother's Daughter' and being sad when you abandoned it.
Looks like this re-write is much better!
Can't wait to read and give you my thoughts!

Re: 2nd UK Tour, 1997-2000

I suppose no bootlegs of the tour beyond Dublin exist? Also half of these Éponine's I'd never heard of before... she is the character I used to focus on the most when I collected bootlegs. I was such an epybopper...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

So my choir is touring to NYC at the end of June. We get to see a show and I'm going to try my hardest to make it Les Mis. But any bway show would be amazing since I've never seen one before. My director wants to see Matilda but does anyone know what other good ones are out right now that would appe...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

It was a performance at the White Plains Performing Arts center, funnily enough I saw a preview for it on youtube. I missed the livestream, but when the next one is happening, I hope to make it!

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

So I have no idea if this is the right place to ask this but this is the random thread, so here goes. My friend who lives near NYC told me that he saw an off-broadway production of Les Mis today, but I have no knowledge of one in existence. Anyone know if this was a regional production or something ...

I love ASoIaF! Got hooked via the TV show, which has Les Mis/Martin Guerre actors in it! I kept wondering why Ian Glen's name sounded so familiar...

Re: Favourite foreign language versions of songs

I rather enjoy the Flemish version of "Heel Alleen" Oooh that's one I've not listened to much actually. Oh my, Vikidal....if I'm ever having a bad day, that's what I listen to. Has anyone heard his Javert? Does it deserve to be as notorious as his Valjean? He played Javert? I have to hear...

The Dutch versions make me cringe!
My fav song to laugh at is the Hungarian version of "Who Am I?"
