Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Latin is life and the universe and the answer to everything and.....

I really like latin.

I love the Russian language, and I've been trying to teach myself. I'm also taking French at school.
Language learning is fun.

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Hello People Who Still Come Here! It's I, Sparks!! [insert confetti and fanfare]. It's been a wild few months. Actually, you probably wouldn't recognize me as the person I was a few months ago. Honestly, I am all the better for it. I've fallen away from politics, resorting to ridiculous political jo...

Emjolras and I write a Parody

For those times when Abaisse is just kinda dead: Em:There’s boredom that can’t be spoken, Empty accounts at empty forums, Abaisse friends have all moved on… Me: Here we talked of revolutions Here it was fic plans were made! Here we said, “until the next time…" But the next time never came. Em:f...

Re: Random things you've noticed

I've noticed the sign with the eye in the background of the barricade. It made me think of the "eye of the revolution" quote, interpreted quite literally. Actually, Hooper and the art director put it there because of the feeling of Hugo about "God is always watching", so...

I don't wear makeup.

I have no clue about my nationality or who I'm related to.

I agree with Rachel on your eye and hair color, Em.

I don't know who I'd be in the French Revolution.

Apparently Michigan is the Bahorel State.

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

A little bit about me. Christian family. Catholic, in fact. Middle-class. My father make a steady income as the senior engineer at his company. We give to charities on a regular basis. We take part in a program that supports struggling children. We have been doing this for as long as I can remember....

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

If there is one thing I know about the government it is that they care about their own profit as much as the private corporations care. The education sustem around me is absolutly horrible. I go to a private school (aka profit seeking institution) where I receive a very good education. I know what I...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

I can understand that and I respect people who help themselves rather than always expect others to. However no matter how much of a "get up and goer" you are, there might be a time where you find yourself in a situation where you have to ask for help. You might have family and friends to ...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Kinda cutting into the conversation here. I don't feel that the government owes me anything. As long as they just keep to their duties (to protect citizens rights and defend the people) I will feel satisfied. I guess I understand the "stile it out on your own" mindset, but maybe that's bec...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Heard Viva la Vida on the radio four years ago, fell in love with it, and only found out what the songs title was last year. It's pretty easy to memorize, there are only two verses and a refrain.

Try this thread for theme song inspiration. :)
