Re: Rachelle's amigurumi dollies

Update on Fantine. I thought she would be so much easier to make because she has less complicated items of clothing and because she is my second one but she had her own challenges. 1. The hair, she has a lot of it. It wasn't difficult to make, it just took ages. 2. The dress, I've avoided using patt...

Re: West End 2014/2015

mmmm, that is a very good question. Is it Hutchen or Houchen (like couch)? Not too sure.

Re: The Rose of Versailles

See I thought it was going to be really awful and it wasn't as bad as I expected. It's nowhere near as good as the anime but there are certain bits that I actually preferred the anime. For example, when Oscar's meant to be getting married off, in the anime her would-be groom is Gerodere who is a nic...

Re: The Rose of Versailles

Don't apologise. I feel the exact same about it. I've started reading the manga now but it's only a matter of time before I watch the anime again.
Have you seen the film as well? I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

The Rose of Versailles

Has anyone else watched this?? I figured at least a few of you might have. I've just finished the last episode and I'm really considering going back to the beginning and starting over again, I enjoyed it that much. I cannot recommend it enough, or more correctly I cannot recommend it enough if you a...

Re: Who Should Be In The Show?

I'd love to see Michael Colbourne (current Enjolras) as Marius. He just seemed really cute and I thought he'd be good in the role.

Am I the only Camille here? All these Saint-Justs are making me nervous. :|

Have any of you been watching the challenges that the London cast have been doing recently?

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Yeah, the orchestrations were definitely pre25th anniversary. Who was the Enjolras that Havvy performed with? I really need to visit that deli next time I'm in Edinburgh. I'm a bit annoyed because the crochet hook that I'm using to make dolls of les mis characters with is on the verge of snapping in...

Re: Rachelle's amigurumi dollies

Thanks guys xxx I'm really itching to make another one despite all the gruelling hard work. I've no brown wool so it's going to have to be Fantine. I've some pretty blue wool for her dress and hopefully enough yellow for some long hair. Also, it didn't translate too well in the photo but Enjy's shir...

Re: Symptoms of B.A.R.R.I.C.A.D.

Recently I've been following a lot of the London cast on twitter. So much so that I wake up on wednesdays and saturdays thinking 'two-show day today'. I really need to stay away from twitter.

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Sheet music has not materialised so I'm transcribing by ear. I've done it before for other songs but not to this scale. I have the sheet music for most of the songs from the pvg book but most of them are in the wrong key. So many different keys. It's fun though. If get past the One Day More section ...

Re: Le Cafe Mu(in)sain

Deli Victor Hugo?? Where's this? Also, some of my friends are doing Sunshine on Leith in the Fringe with CaptivateTheatre. I'm not sure if there's any tickets left but it should be good. http://www.captivatetheatre.com/#!sunshine-on-leith/c1xmn Also, for some reason I've decided to try and learn the...
