Re: What The Others Don't Know; PG-13; Enjolras/OC; oneshot

Who is this mysterious "everyone"? Because none of Enjolras' friends see him like that. Echoing the others regarding your Mary Sue. There is no basis for the relationship. There is no point that's served in this romantic tryst...thing. Instead, it seems like you denigrated Enjolras' friend...

Re: Unititled Grantaire AU Fic PG-13

Normally that tends to be where things are leading when a female is introduced in such a capacity. Aside from that, I'd wonder why you'd opt for his 'rescuer' to be female.

Re: Unititled Grantaire AU Fic PG-13

It's not bad, but Grantaire/OC fics make me sick and a little sad.

Plushies of Les Amis

Since people are posting images of action figures, I figured it was only fair to post pictures of the Enjolras and Grantaire UFO catcher dolls that TC and I have. http://i.imgur.com/RyJ9b.jpg Enjolras and Grantaire. http://i.imgur.com/4XjbL.jpg Grantaire in detail. http://i.imgur.com/zvwh5.jpg Enjol...

Re: Anime?

Yah. Reading back over the posts, I remember two episodes that might be what you're describing. The first one is when Éponine decides to run away and gets lost. Cosette and the dog go off to find her. The second episode was when Cosette's doll gets lost and she leaves Valjean to find her and gets lo...

Re: Anime?

Beacause it's Les Mis! *jazz hands* As Alain Boublil once said, there's no musical that's been on the scale of Les Misérables where so many people die (or something along those lines). And he sounded so happy when he said it. Why is the anime for kids anyway? I'm pretty sure kids aren't that intere...

Re: I just finished the Brick...

Book Enjolras is generally quite cold and brutal to an extent. He's incredibly dismissive of Grantaire, and is obsessed with the whole idea of the republic and of the revolution. What. Wow. Just wow. Someone asks for an introduction to the barricade boys and gets this. Way to utterly write off a ch...

Re: 10th Vs. 25th Anniversary Concert

Really? There was perhaps the occasional note where he was off key a little bit but on the whole I generally felt he was in tune and singing well. Obviously though, if you don't like the rest of it and the general direction of his character, then that's your opinion. He rushed the lines. More than ...

Re: 10th Vs. 25th Anniversary Concert

I think that's a bit harsh on some of the cast to be honest. Ramin's voice was far from hideous. Whether you like it or not is personal opinion, but it certainly wasn't hideous in my opinion. I wouldn't say that Alfie Boe was an awful actor either. He was much better with his singing, however he st...

Re: I can draw!

Upload the pictures onto the internet first. Such as photobucket, tiny image, tumblr, a livejournal, whatever medium you want.

Then you do the coding here with the link to the picture. Right now, it just shows us where you have it on your computer.

Re: Marchers and Red Banners (G rated, modern day fic)

Very good fic. Skeptical woman so needs to go. There's only room in this town for one cynic. Though now I can certainly understand Enjolras' frustration with Grantaire a little better. Skeptics get so very, very annoying. Especially when the root cause regards human rights. Oh, Combeferre. You deser...

Re: Les Misérables Fan Dictionary

@Simara - What a sweeping generalization to make. Also rather insultive to everyone who has ever written slash or even the barest form of homoeroticism. You've also managed to imply that sexuality is the crux of characterization. As opposed to what the character stands for, how they would react, the...

Re: 10th Vs. 25th Anniversary Concert

TAC. Now and forever. Both of these anniversaries were concerts for the most part. Thus, I would think quality in voices/singing would far outweigh anything visual. It seems that the majority of people here like the 25th as something more visual but would play it with the sound off. Personally speak...

Re: Les Misérables Fan Dictionary

Also, it's Enjolraic. Not Enjolratic.

The only other one I've seen/heard is Enjolrasy and that was from one of Jason Forbach's tweets when he was describing a statue that looked particularly Enjolraic.

Re: Les Misérables Fan Dictionary

Thank you. It's weird seeing as how Enjolras-the-Jaw is the second one to speak up to try and 'police' behavior. I suppose any sort of dissent is now 'edgy'? Moving on. Enjolras going up on the barricade and waving the flag isn't reckless. It's a symbolic part of the movement. They couldn't very wel...
