Re: Things you're ashamed to admit you own

Ooh...! Were those the books where the cats lived in a forest and were weirdly organized and loyal for cats? My sister loved those when we were younger. I was a snob and teased her about them. :D

Re: Things you're ashamed to admit you own

I own Bill O'Reilly's autobiography. (For those of you who don't live in America, Bill O'Reilly is this guy on Fox News channel who hosts a show where he says nasty things about, like, women and racial minorities)
So...that's something. My grandmother gave it to me.

Re: The Rant thread

Seriously? That's bad form. Sorry to have the ending spoiled for you. :( I'm super paranoid about seeing last sentences, as well. I always sort of...avert my eyes when I'm flipping through a book back-to-front.

Re: London/UK Riots, 2011

Isn't it awful? I've mostly been keeping up with it by watching BBC News. I'm interested to hear the opinion of people who are actually...in or from England. I heard this morning that the riots have spread to Leeds, among other places, which is a bit scary because a friend of mine works in Leeds. Do...

Re: Earworms

Pretty much anything Spring Awakening. Particulary the songs with a bit too much strong language for me to sing them in mixed company.

Re: Favourite Non-Mis Musicals

Spring Awakening is happening in DC next summer? I just got into Spring Awakening about a week ago. What's it going to be like, compared to the original Broadway version I watched on Youtube?

The detail is amazing! Did you use a machine, or hand sew the clothes? (Also the photography is gorgeous.)

When dealing with a book like Les Mis, /never/ make those sort of choices based on who dies. ;D

Re: Musical Movie?

I don't watch a great many musical movies--do they usually add new songs? I know that most of the time they chop up the order and take out bits, but I don't really remember ever watching a movie where they wrote a whole new song. If such a thing were to happen, I hope it wouldn't go to Madame T. Tha...

Re: Painful Les Misérables Pronunciations

Oh my gosh, I thought it was Enroljas too, for an embarrassingly long time. I guess I saw a mis-spelling and got all confused?
Also said Jay-HAN and Ba-HOREL, but eh. I was young. (And unafraid?)

Re: General Chatter

Happy Barricade Day! :D
What have you guys been doing to celebrate? (Me, my sister, and Bohemianredhead managed to wrangle together a little group of Mizzies to go to these antique shops and a Napoleon themed bakery.) (In costume.)
