Re: Snowflakes; Bossuet NC-17; non-con 2/5

I've reviewed this elsewhere, but felt it needed to have comment here. Not only are Bossuet fics rare (and well-written ones even rarer), the subject matter is sensitively handled and terribly poignant.

Re: I can draw!

Very nice work - you have a really solid grasp of line (it's not at all tentative) and there's some good delineation of character emerging there :)

Thread-necromancy, if someone has something to add to a discussion that has been dormant for however long, is most welcome :)

Re: Enjolras-as-tyrant?

I am SO half asleep and jet laggy and all, but a couple of things jump out at me: ...but our political instinct is to be wary of the man with the dream and the pretty speech and the gun. Not all of us - remember, I come from an Irish political tradition. I relate very well to inspirational speech wh...

Re: The Good Karma Thread

Airpunch! Am so looking forward to finally meeting you in person! I'll post the rough details on my LJ over the weekend - at the moment my only firm thought is Vintage Clothing Fair, and I need to catch up with a couple of friends, but other than that I'm open to Cocktailish and other suggestions.

Re: The Good Karma Thread

That is huge, TC - I know what an enourmous relief it is to relieve yourself of a debt! And thanks so much for the kind comments about the book, all. It is such an odd feeling when a friend emails you to tell you that it's for sale now in stores in the UK...the first review has appeared, and I could...

Re: The Good Karma Thread

It's all a bit odd at the moment...mostly good, but you know me and my swings and roundabouts approach to the world. But as this is "Good Karma", I'll focus on the good stuff. Life has been a bit surreal since the publication of the book. I sort of assumed that it was too niche to have any...

Re: Christmas Drabble Requests, various parings, G-NC-17

I do love your drabbles - some are light as air, delicious confections, and some have such a compact punch conveyed with an economy of words. Which is exactly what drabbles should be!

Re: Need, Joly/Grantaire, PG

I am sitting here at work with a big grin on my face at the idea of Grantaire winding up in an inadvertant threesome with Bossuet and Joly (and it's an interesting take on R's desired but at the same time feared intimacy with Enjolras). This adds all sorts of intriguing dynamics to the scene in the ...

Re: TC's Birthday Gift; Enjolras/Feuilly

Now *this* was interesting - Feuilly's unconventional means of extracting certain responses and illustrating certain points is fascinating. Their interplay is so powerfully intimate on not just a physical level (my goodness, the level of trust involved there...!!), but also emotionally.
