Re: Les Mis on Facebook!

Re: What are you reading?

There were so many time I wanted to hug and punch him simultaneously in the face. I never felt sympathy and annoyance for Marius at the same time, probably because Hugo didn't want anyone to feel that (idk did he?) but that takes talent.

Re: Homosexuality in 19th Century France

Personally, I would say get an account on livejournal, and link to your posts here, but if you want publicity, I'd go with ff.net.

Re: Language learning

Ooh, language learning~ English is my native language - I was born and raised in Wisconsin and apparently we sound like Canada's little brother in regards to accents. In middle school, we all had to learn a foreign language and I had signed up for French. Unfortunately the French classes were full ...

Re: Language learning

I take French and Spanish at school, (and since I've taken Spanish since the seventh grade, I'm probably better at it) and the way I remember how to say cake in French (gateau) is because one day my French teacher was talking about buying cake at the store. I was in Spanish mode at the time for some...

Re: What was the worst in the movies?

2000 wasn't that bad. It was hilarious (lmfao pedobear Valjean needs to be a meme now) but it certainly wasn't the worst. They had all the amis, Enjolras was actually the leader, it had minor plot points, and it was pretty long. The '56 was pretty awful.

Re: General Chatter

I just realised today that everyone hates everyone else on the track team. That's why no one feels bad when they talk about anyone, and that's why they talk about everyone. Kind of makes me not want to do spring. But then again, if I don't do spring, they'll be talking about me for that too. sports ...

Re: The Rant thread

So this year, my dad decided we should "keep the christ in christmas." He said we should each read a verse from the bible. Our Christmasses have never been religious other than saying a prayer at dinner time which I took as secular. I am not Catholic. I don't even believe in a god. When I ...

Re: Cross-novel relationships

I also have crossover OTP: Combeferre/Stephen Maturin. :D oh yes, you know they're perfect for each other. My otp for life: Combeferre/Stephen/the sloth. YOU KNOW YOU ALL WANT IT. But at the same time, Eugene de Rastignac is almost Courfeyrac's twin, so I feel kind of bad shipping them BUT OH WELL ...

Re: The Rant thread

That's terrible, Patria! :( I always do terrible on math tests that are supposed to be easy, but I do well on tests that are hard. It's like I can speak languages, but I can't do math.
